Connacht Track and Field Championships 2013

The school was well represented at the Connacht championships with more than 30 athletes from Colaiste Einde qualifying from the South Connacht championships two weeks earlier. Off those 30 plus athletes, five will now go on to the All-Irelands in June. Meghan Daveron (300m hurdles), Colin Hanbury, Nicole King (100m) and Jessica Okeke (Shot put) all performed brilliantly to finish second. They will be joined at the all-Irelands by Randy Befula who finished 3rd in the under 16 mile.

In addition to the silver medals, Ayo Alotunde (100m), Eugine Edokpayi (400m Hurdles), and the Inter boys and the inter boys relay teams all earned bronze medals but missed out on all-ireland qualifying by just one place.  Well done to all the athletes that competed.
